I recently had the pleasure of photographing Nathanial. Nathanial was just a few days old, newborn pictures are much better when taken below 2 weeks of age so Nathanial was perfect.
Hopefully I will see Nathanial again when he is a little older for some further photography!
Durham Castle was the backdrop for Helen and David’s beautiful wedding. After a ceremony at the Raddisson the whole wedding party made its way across the city to the castle, it was pretty tiring carrying all my kit. Thankfully the weather was great and the city provided a backdrop for some pictures along the way.
The castle provided many locations for photographs and thankfully there was time for us to visit them. Helen and David’s wedding was a very busy day but a pleasure to photograph!
I had the pleasure of photographing Catherine and Ryan’s wedding at Wynyard Hall, we managed to dodge the rain showers to grab some pictures outside. I was so pleased to hear that the pictures were going to be published in Wedding Ideas Magazine.
I had the pleasure of photographing newborn baby Dominic, he was as good as gold for his session, but refused to sleep!
Nevertheless we managed to get some lovely pics.
I had the pleasure of photographing Pearl at Hardwick Park. Pearl was a little reluctant to start with, but she got into it a little more towards the end, I think the picture with her special teddy really shows of her personality! We captured some really nice shots, the weather was good, if a little windy and I managed to find a lovely new spot tucked under some trees.
Love that smile!
With her special teddy.
A great little spot in the trees!
I met Archie and his mum at Hardwick Park for his photoshoot. Archie has just turned 1 and managed brilliantly on a very windy day, his little eyes were streaming but he kept a smile on his face! We finished taking the pictures in the nick of time as the heavens opened!
Archie's red top added a great splash of colour to his outdoor photoshoot. At the end of the session we dived into the woods to escape the wind (and the rain) to grab a few shots with the flash.
I had the pleasure of taking some pictures of little Ella. Ella was a little older than I normally aim for for my newborn photography, however she was still so petite despite being 5 weeks old. As she was a little older Ella made us work for the pictures, but all good things come to those who wait!
We shot the pictures in my home in Ingleby Barwick where we set up a mini studio. The natural light was gorgeous and soft which helped to get some beautiful images. Ella's mum brought the hat she is wearing which Ella rocked and looked so cute!
It was my gorgeous little daughter's first birthday, so we decided to take take some photos to mark the event!
It seems so much harder taking pictures of my own kids, I think that they're so desensitised to the whole process that she completely ignores me. It is so difficult to make her look at the camera!! Managed to get some nice pics though!
I had the pleasure of photographing Libby and her baby brother Niall at their home.
Libby was very patient while we were setting up pictures and coloured some lovely pictures in the kitchen!
